Blue Heron at Nana's.. They are found mostly down by the ocean, but since she has a creek by her house, they like to come up and check it out. Below is another one of one down by the bay.

Here are pictures take during the SOLV Great Oregon Beach Cleanup. This is what Nana and I do every summer when I visit. It is pretty sad how much trash we always find. But it is also wonderful how many people..and animals...help!!

I grew up in Netarts when Happy Camp was just that; a place for campers. It was a great childhood with the wonders of the beach and woods in our back yard. My last visit showed too many changes from the simipler times. Many happy memories...Thanks for sharing.
